This is a 1965 Shelby Cobra 427 S/C Roadster replica made by Superformance. Signed by Carroll Shelby. The car was wrecked in the owners neighborhood when it hit a mesquite tree on the right front causing the car to spin to the left and thus hitting the left rear tire on a driveway pillar, estimated speed was 35 MPH. The right front wheel has a damaged inner lip. The left rear wheel has two dents in it, it may be able to be repaired. The front frame member where the serial number is located. Was driven forward just lightly touched the aluminum pulley on the water pump.  460 "Cobra Jet" 485 HP performance engine, Holley dual feed carb, Tremec TKA five speed transmission/original style shifter, remote oil cooler and filter. Four wheel independent suspension, coil over adjustable Bilstein shocks with vented disc and Wilwood high performance brake calipers. 15" aluminum alloy pin drive knock off wheels, rack and pinion steering. Fiberglass body, hood with scoop, vinyl convertible top with side curtains, chrome roll bar. European leather seats, Smiths gauges, heater/defroster, carpet throughout and 4 point safety harnesses. Engine specifications 460 cu in, 485 horsepower and 480 ft/lbs of torque est. at 4600 RPM. 10.5:1 compression ratio. Performer RPM duel plane intake manifold. Ford Racing "Cobra Jet" aluminum heads with Ford Racing valve train. Ford Racing high-torque hydraulic flat tappet camshaft.
